About the Game

The future is the past and the present is both -- time is doing cartwheels. Lots of Tiksus have escaped in the chaos. Help cowboy Daniel herd back as many as you can to. Those Tiksus are needed to fill out the Game Jam Asset Pack.

Tiksu Toksu is a herding game where future , past and present collide. At any time one part of your are could turn into the future or the past.

Normal present Tiksu runs away from you. Future Tiksu is more dangerous and will chase you. Past Tiksu are still eggs, which are easier to herd but slower to move.

Get as many as you can to Tartu University before you run out of time.

Use WASD or Arrow Keys to move.

There are no other controls.

It was quite fun

It's fun! You can pretty quicly figure out how to herd tiksus (i just had experience with similiar mechanic xd).

I think the enjoyment would have been better if the door were larger :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ one of the best games of the UT jams. Could use a bit more humor for my taste. All round excellent game.

It would be nice if you increased the size of the door or removed collisions between Tiksus. Other than that, the game feels excellent

Oddly very fun and interesting, especially once the different time zones came in.

it was cool but i didnot get a good score :( also i got stuck many times between tiksus

the fact that you can see other players scores makes me want to keep playing

Nice tasks, though I didn't manage to fix the time machine (found the switch conf with the help of map) but couldn't figure out, what next. Doors /time machine didn't react to E-key. Saw a bird on the left but couldn't get there.

At first I was a little confused, cause I wasn't sure how you have to herd them. I thought you had to press some kind of button, until I realised you can just run into them.

Its a fun little, simple minigame.

Everything is great. Effects, art, audio. It all comes together for a great game.

Art and color palette is pretty cool, sound effects also add to the experience

Nice sound and game world. Map UI didn't close, had to use Esc to get to the main menu and then Resume.

The different times like times???? holy moly, I love how it also changes your approach to birds. It's a huge work done for a 48 hours o:

Innovative approach with the time lasers

I've seen herding games in MMOs and such before, it's not very special. But the time anomalies were a great twist on that style of gameplay.

Very interesting mechanic

Would give more if randomness couldn't simply kill your 5 tiksu herd
