Theme
I don't think the theme excuses not explaining your game controls.
Quack.
I think that yes, it can be related to the theme
very well, felt like i was quacking into the unknown
Duck walking around a duck juice lab collecting mysterious green to power the generator.
Enjoyment
Found out that the balls can be used to create infinite energy, by hitting em while having no energy. Then got stuck on terrain and couldnt quit. Unironically fun. Explored it after.
Actually kinda fun, movement felt nice.
Attacking and getting damaged was really weird sometimes, esp once the floor was filled with those red thingies. Super hard to collect energy.
Pretty hard to save energy while fighting (even if you try to dodge attacks)
The movement was way too fast to manage well
very interesting, loved the animation of the duck walking, and quacking
The atmosphere was nice and it was interesting to walk around for a bit.
my laptop exploded during this sorry cant ahndle it
Aesthetics
Really good animations
Quack.
Looked nice overall
Arts are fine but was a bit laggy in a couple of moments. Atmosphere is great and the main character is cool!
Didnt get the story, but art really loved
art simple but suits it, no music or story so was confused by that
Same as above comment
Anti-aliasing please
Innovation
The game is visually impressive for a jam game but i don't feel like anything really novel was tried with the mechanics.
Quack.
Nothing to add
quacking kills virus which i think is very novel
Walking simulator essentially, didn't feel novel
Bonus
Quack.
Why 700MB?
Also GameJam games shouldn't make a RTX 3080 go into airplane mode (hurts you as less people are able to properly play the game)
3d
Nothing to add
Sick environment design
